Conterra Construction was introduced to SCE at an American Indian Chamber of Commerce of California expo, marking the beginning of a transformative utility partnership. In 2010, Rachel secured a contract with a major utility provider, a relationship that remains active to this day—demonstrating consistency, reliability, and long-term performance at an enterprise level.
Won the first SCE contract to remove a shuttered nursery that had operated on an SCE right-of-way and restore the property to its original condition—setting the standard for quality work that would define the company's reputation.
Throughout her career, Rachel has worked on a wide range of high-profile and complex projects, including commercial buildings such as Starbucks and Whole Foods, cellular infrastructure sites, and large-scale utility work. Over the past two years alone, SCE contracts have helped the firm grow by 40%, acquiring two heavy equipment storage yards, expanding equipment and tools, and growing its vehicle fleet.
The firm has worked at more than 150 sites throughout SCE's 50,000-square-mile service area, maintaining miles of dirt access roads and conducting weekly weed abatement. Since 2008, her work has earned numerous awards and recognitions across construction, real estate, and business services—reflecting a sustained record of excellence, professionalism, and impact.
